The FREYA company (operating under the trade name PAPER CLUB), with a capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 892 295 072, whose head office is located 15 rue des halles in Paris (75001) undertakes to comply with the amended French Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (LIL), as well as the European Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
In keeping with the meaning of this regulation, the data controller is SOCIÉTÉ FREYA.
1. Data collected, purposes and legal basis
The information collected by SOCIÉTÉ FREYA as part of the user registration process on the Plateform or during an online purchase is subject to computer processing intended to manage the business relationship and to process orders in the best possible conditions.
We process your data on the basis of the fulfilment of the contract.
In that respect, the data collected by SOCIÉTÉ FREYA includes the following:
- Your first and last name;
- Your billing address;
- Your business telephone number;
- Your business email address;
This data as well as the payment method may be pre-filled by Google Chrome if you have accepted and enabled this feature. You can manage this in your Google settings. We are not responsible for the data processed by Google.
We also process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in marketing our website, improving it, to send you news updates and to offer you promotions. Your data may also be used to allow us to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
2. Recipients, countries of data storage
SOCIÉTÉ FREYA, its employees, and the Editors who process the orders as well as its subcontractors and partners in charge of customer service, newsletters, and payments are the sole recipients of this data.
SOCIÉTÉ FREYA undertakes not to sell or transfer your data to third parties for purposes other than those stated above without informing you and/or asking for your consent.
Your data is hosted in France
Your data may be hosted, transferred, or stored in a country outside the European Union due to the internal management of the company. In accordance with the GDPR, SOCIÉTÉ FREYA has put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your data (standard contractual clauses and additional protection measures). You can request a copy of these by writing to the email address below (point 6).
3. Data protection measures
SOCIÉTÉ FREYA uses all technical and human means necessary to protect your data, which it considers and treats as strictly confidential.
However, we advise that you equip your computer with software tools to protect the transmission/reception of your data within the network, both inbound and outbound (such as an up-to-date anti-virus system) and to ensure that your Internet service provider has taken the necessary measures to guarantee the security of data transmission in the network (such as, for instance, by means of firewalls and anti-spam filters)
4. Retention periods
Customer data is kept for a duration of 5 years following the end of the business relationship. Data relating to an advertiser who has placed no orders (prospect) is kept for a duration of 3 years following its collection or the last contact with the prospect.
5. Cookies
We use cookies which record information about your browsing experience:
– to make sure that our website is functioning perfectly;
– to analyse the website’s perusal statistics;
The cookies remain active for 6 months.
6. Your rights regarding your data
You have the right to access, to rectify, and to delete your personal data. You also have the right to limit the processing and portability of your data, in addition to your ability to inform us of your wishes regarding your data if you should pass away.
